Sunesis Learning Initiative (SLI) is a progressive, mission-driven global ministry committed to discipling the nations in alignment with the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the heart of our work is Sunesis—a spiritual intelligence and understanding drawn from God’s Word—applied to provide transformative solutions for individuals, organizations, and societies. Through a multifaceted approach, SLI engages across key spheres of influence, including faith, governance, economy, family, education, media, arts, entertainment, and culture, with the goal of advancing kingdom values and shaping destinies.

Leadership

Dr. Solomon Appiah, Ph.D. is a distinguished Ghanaian academic, Bible teacher, author, consultant, and the visionary founder of the Sunesis Learning Initiative. With deep expertise spanning church leadership, public policy, advocacy, and international relations, he brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and strategic thought to his work. His theological focus centers on the doctrines of eternal life and righteousness, themes that permeate both his teaching and writing.

Dr. Appiah has collaborated with several esteemed institutions, including the Africa Progress Panel—chaired by the late H.E. Kofi Annan—where he contributed to the landmark 2013 Africa Progress Report on extractives and development. He has also worked with the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and the Government of Ghana, influencing high-level policy conversations and reform efforts.

In the field of education, he has served as a Lecturer at the graduate school of Wisconsin International University College (Ghana), as well as a faculty member at the College of Sustainable Transformation and Development (COSTrAD) and other academic institutions, contributing to the training of emerging leaders and scholars.

Dr. Appiah is affiliated with the International School of Ministry under Loveworld Inc., led by Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, DSc., DSc., DD, where he has received multiple accolades. He is an Ambassador of Pastor Chris and the Healing School, where he has been recognized for his contributions. As a partner, the ministry he leads, Sunesis Learning Initiative, has been honored at the prestigious Loveworld Presidential Awards in the TOP 10 PARTNERING MINISTRIES AWARD category.
